Couples' Day Out - Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko

It is our first time to attend Valentines Event as husband and wife, kaya naman we are both excited, aside from the fact na, narequest kami ni Joseph to cover the event with photos and videos, kasi sakto daw, mag-asawa kami, who are both into E-CAM Ministry.


The Original plan that time was a MASQUERADE BALL PARTY in Taj Palace, but later on, it was decided to do it in a Simple, Practical gathering in DEIRA CREEK PARK. Atleast, nga naman, pati kids, they can join their parents sa party, and hindi maalangan ung mga COUPLES with no partners (mga nasa Pinas ang better half).


Theme for this YEAR is "KAHIT MAPUTI NA ANG BUHOK KO"





The organizer of the event is the CSG ( Certified Singles Group). We are so thankful for their hardships, their efforts, their times, their talents to make this event a successful one.





We are the EARLY BIRDS Couple, me and Joseph, kasi, we went there before the CALL TIME, since we are requested to take photos and videos of the event. But since Joseph's brother visited us in Dubai, they left me in the park and had no choice to cover the event alone. By the way, Joseph arrived halfway of the event. So mostly I am the one who has taken all the photos. Kaya pasensya na sa ibang shots.....beginner po!


First step... REGISTRATION of the COUPLES


They gave heart shape name tags for the wives! ang cute! hehehe...and we pick a number which will be our permanent number for group games.

Even withour their better halves (on Vacay in Phils/ not available), they still join..why not? Hearts day is not for couples only...right???












It was hosted by Ana Karen and Marcko, both from Singles Group!

After the opening prayer of Kuya Glen (Head of Men's Ministry) and welcome remarks of Ate Lhiza (Head of Ladies of Faith), the program officialy started.

Part 2.... GAMES...GAMES...AND GAMES....

PICTURE PERFECT (I know everybody know this game already, pero sa di nakakaalam, il explain briefly... The game master will tell a certain, event or scene, or ocassion to the participants, and the team need to portray in their best way the roles, however, since it is PICTURE, movement is not allowed for the team, you just have to be creative in portraying your role and once the game master says 'FREEZE" then the team will stop and will present their PICTURE of the SCENE...) Judge will declare the winning team.

Here's a sample of the PICTURE PERFECT, SCENE is 50YEARS GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY, look what the TWO GROUPS have done. Guess who won?

(Explanation daw : Nakapalibot ung mga anak...but unfortunately, hindi na umabot si LOLO ng 50years, kaya, sa libingan sila nagcelebrate) hahaha...

TEAM 2



(Explanation : Here naman, grupo namin, the 50years golden anniversary PICTURE Portrait, two ladies, represents the FRAME, and the TANGING YAMAN Family from Lolo, Lola, Anak, Apo, Anak sa Labas, Anak sa Loob, Anak sa Gilid....hahaha)

And, after the 3 SCENES, our TEAM 2, won! yehey!

Second Game (Ballon Relay)

Congrats Jez and Syke, the CHAMPION!





Third Game is the PIN HUNTING (Ladies are blind folded, ung aspili ipipin sa any part ng damit ng mga Husbands, so first to hunt the pin will win, for FAIR GAME, they put the PINS on the same place, sa laylayan ng pants ng mga Hubbies)

Congratulations Kuya Gerry and Ate Cecil who also won the Fourth Game CALAMANSI (3 times, na ilalagay sa loob ng shirt ng husband, pababa sa pants, and kung sino pinakamabilis will win)




And the last part of the program is the KAHIT MAPUTI NA ANG BUHOK KO, RENEWING OF THE VOWS....

In this part, Couples were given the chance to Publicly and Solemnly Vow to their partners their PROMISES, their ENDLESS LOVE, their I LOVE YOU's...

From the different COUPLES, there are also different ways of EXCHANGING THEIR VOWS... Ang buhay may-asawa nga naman, parang pelikula

Hayyy... this is really KAKAKILIG MOMENTS....

To summarize the event, while covering through photos, videos, and encounter with them, may mga bagay akong natutunan:

1. Love never dies..... Basta both of the husband and wife will cultivate it, ang sarap kayang magcelebrate kayo ng more anniversaries together di ba?

2. Arguments/ Quarrels are normal sa mag-asawa, mahalaga, you'll sit and talk about, then reconcile.

3. Kahit maputi na ang buhok ko, siya na lang ang taong magiging kaligayan mo, so enjoy ur partnership!

I love what Joseph have promised me that day, as far as I can remember, eto yung linya niya....

"Sa aking MAHAL, Ipinapangako ko, na IKAW LANG ANG AKING IIBIGIN sa BUONG BUHAY ko."
