Just few trivia about my husband.

He is the one who influenced me in this CYBERWORLD. Before, I am not interested in internets, in networks, and I will just drop by in internet cafe, kung me iresearch ako. But one time, he introduced me to friendster and created a profile for me. That time, we were still boyfriends/ girlfriends, and from that day on, I started to love surfing the net, and bandang huli, ako pa ang tagabago niya ng profile.

One day, he read my profile, and requested me to change his profile, the "ABOUT ME" and here's what I have made for him:

Those were the days, and until now, that I am getting to know him more and more, mas lalo ko siyang minamahal sa araw araw ng buhay ko.

Minsan pag naiisip ko, siguro kung yung iba ang nakatuluyan ko, I will not be this much contented, this much happy, sa buhay ko. Kasi with Joseph, I can be who I am, I can tell him everything that I want, I can do whatever I want as long as trust and love is there.

What gift I can give to Joseph is this baby inside my tummy, ewan ko lang, kung kelan mabubuksan, nakawrap pa eh, but any time, husband will finally see the most wonderful gift he will have in his life.

GETTING READY FOR LABOR

And for the FUTURE-MOMS, WANNA-BE-MOMS, here are some TIPS, ADVICE, FACTS, INFORMATION, na dapat nating malaman in getting ready for the GRAND LABOR DAY!

Prelabor is the time before actual labor when the body prepares for childbirth.

Every day this month your body is preparing for labor so that when the moment actually arrives, your body is ready. Prelabor signals that you're in the getting-ready-for-labor stage include:

· Lightening—the baby's head drops down into the pelvis.

· An increase in vaginal discharge and/or brownish or blood-tinged mucus discharge.

· An increase in the number and intensity of Braxton Hicks contractions

· A nesting instinct that makes you start cleaning closets and organizing your kitchen. If you find yourself filled with energy and driven to clean, primal instincts are pushing you to get your home ready for the new family member.

Practice Run

On the TV sitcoms, the pregnant woman always grabs her big belly with a look of wide-eyed surprise and announces, "It's time." Unfortunately, labor doesn't usually come on like that. You might spend a lot of time this month timing contractions, grabbing your suitcase, and then stopping short, realizing the contractions have stopped—false labor!

False labor feels just like the real thing. That's why thousands of pregnant women who rush to the hospital are sent home again to wait just a little longer. This is embarrassing, naturally (especially if you've woken your spouse, your parents, and your physician to announce the news), but it's nothing new. When contractions start you can tell, usually, that real labor has not begun if you answer "yes" to these four questions:

· Do the contractions stay the same in intensity (not getting worse)?

· Do the contractions come in uneven intervals (two minutes apart, then seven minutes apart, then four minutes apart, for example)?

· Is the pain in your lower abdomen rather than in your lower back?

· Do the contractions stop when you move around or change position?

If you're saying "yes," you're not in real labor yet. When real labor contractions begin, you will find that you cannot walk or talk through them. That's a good time to start packing.

Preparing Yourself for Childbirth: Packing Your Hospital Bag

When you are close to delivery you may have some time on your hands. You will be thinking about the big moment, playing it over and over in your mind. If this is your first baby, you're likely to over-prepare, because you really have no idea what to expect. One thing you can do during this time is pack your hospital and baby bags. You know that this is not something you'll want to worry about once labor begins—your organizational skills might very well be a little challenged at that time.

Your Overnight Bag Basics

Although you'll be wearing one of those handy dandy everyone-can-see-your-butt gowns during delivery, you'll want to bring some comfortable sleepwear of your own. If you're planning to breast-feed, you can buy adorable, feminine, comfortable nightgowns designed specifically for that purpose at any store that sells maternity wear. (You'll probably want to bring several, even for a short hospital stay—you'll be surprised how many you'll need as you learn to maneuver around your infant and your lactating breasts.

You may want to pack a robe to throw on when people come to visit you at inopportune times. You'll also want to bring one or more nursing bras with nursing pads. You will not believe how heavy your breasts will feel when your milk comes in. A good nursing bra helps your back and also supposedly helps prevent your breasts from sagging.

For actual delivery you will want some very warm socks. Your feet will get cold and socks will make you feel much more comfortable. You can wear them all through delivery. It may not seem important, but every little bit helps.

You'll want to pack a coming-home outfit, but don't expect to fit into your prepregnancy jeans right after the baby comes. You'll be happier—and much more comfortable—with something you were able to wear in your fourth month of pregnancy. It's also traditional to pack an outfit to bring baby home in, along with some receiving blankets. Your newborn will have his or her first snapshot taken in the hospital nursery and will be haunted by that picture for the rest of his or her life. Choose that first photo outfit wisely.

And don't forget to pack personal items like shampoo, makeup, hairbrush, and toothbrush. It is no big deal if you forget—these items are available at any hospital—but you may be more comfortable using your own things.

Excellent Extras

Your birth coach is someone who trains with you in natural childbirth and will be in the delivery or birthing room while you deliver. You need to choose a person who will ease your experience—the coach is there for your benefit, to help you through contractions and see to your comfort.

When you are in early labor, a massage is particularly welcome. One good, inexpensive massage tool you can make for yourself is to put tennis balls in a sock—your partner or birth coach can use them to rub your lower back. They create just the right amount of soothing friction. There are also wonderful massage tools available at stores like The Body Shop.

You'll want to tuck some lollipops into your bag, too. You will not be permitted to eat or drink during delivery, so your mouth is going to get very dry. Your birth coach will be allowed to give you ice chips (with your nurse's permission) and you will likely be permitted to suck on a lollipop, so you'll want a few on hand. They're simple things, but you'll soon see how important such simple things become.

Other Packing Options

Some people like to bring CDs or cassettes of soft music to play while they're in the delivery room. Only bring something you really like. You want to surround yourself with things that relax you and give you some element of pleasure, in contrast to the pain.

Remember to bring a still or video camera if you want to capture precious first moments for posterity, but I recommend that you decide ahead of time just how personal you want your baby's birth documentary to be. Childbirth does not have a great deal of dignity associated with it, and I, personally, would not want my you-know-what captured on film.

Some people like to bring note cards so that they can send baby announcements or work on thank yous for gifts while in the hospital. But remember that while you're in the hospital, you want to concentrate on resting and spending time with your newborn. You need this time to take care of yourself and to adjust emotionally and physically to your new role. If you enjoy filling out announcements or writing thank you cards, then by all means bring them with you. If they are a pressure or a chore, leave them at home.

One Month Before and One Month After

It's September 30 today! Meaning 1 month na kami dito sa Pinas. Bilis din!

All I can say, there's no place like home.

Ang sarap, gumising, na pagdilat mo, familiar place talaga, paglabas mo, familiar faces, mga pagkaing namiss mong kainin sa matagal na panahon. Mga taong muli mong nakasama at namiss dahil malayo sa piling nila.

Ngayon, I can see family, friends kung gusto ko. Dati, chat chat lang, ngayon, kasa-ksama na sila.

Iba talaga! ibang-iba.

Here are some of the highlights sa isang buwang nakalipas:

September 9, 2010, Mam Evelyn Tria treat us to KTV In CRown Royale, here in Balanga, alam niya kasi, mahilig kaming magkakapatid sa Videoke. We enjoyed that night, kahit buntis, sige lang, hataw sa kantahan....Thanks Mam Ebo!

First visit of my barkada in our house. Although hindi kami kumpleto, masaya pa din naman. Salamat sa mga always present sa gimikan. Loveyou guys! They were my closest friends since High School...We call ourselves DJAT ALARMS... yung iba, due to busy sched, yung iba me mga family and kids na, and mostly nasa abroad, kaya di kami makumpleto.

Our favorite gimik ng family.... IHAW-IHAW! Kahit simpleng ganto lang, masaya na kami. Iba talaga basta magkakasama ang mgapapamilya. Wala kasing KJ sa aming family, and even yung husband ng kapatid ko, and my husband Joseph, totoong family na ang turing sa kanila ng Nanay, Tatay, Ate, Bunso Me-Ann namin. Kaya, always HAPPY FAMILY! Lapit na kami madagdagan ng Baby JJ....yehey!

This is our first attend sa aming Church here. LORD JESUS FELLOWSHIP. Nakakatuwa at sarap makasama ulit ang mga dati mong kasama sa church, sa ministry, sa music team. We promise them, as our commitment to God, na we will support the Music Team! Kaya guys, go go go! Kaya natin yan for the GLORY OF GOD!

THEY ARE THE LOLA'S CELL GROUP! Kahit na may mga edad na, makita mo pa din how they are active sa church, kaya nakakablessed talaga!

And they are the PRESIDING MINISTRY TEAM! Mga masisipag at committed na Leaders ng Church. We are inspired by your ministry!

THE PRAYER WARRIORS... Every Wednesday, we are atteding the Mid Week Service, Prayer Meeting. And they are the people who are interceding for the needs and petitions of the church, our town, our country.

Every weekend, sinusundo namin si Bunso Me-Ann, at sa amin siya muna. I miss her, she's such a sweet, bibong bata. Siya ang magiging "ATE" ni Baby JJ.

Last weekend, after mag-ayos nila Joseph sa church, we invited the Music TEam, sa house na kumain, and again, nag-ihaw ihaw ulit. Kilala talaga ang house namin, na tambayan at puntahan, kasi our house is just behind the church. Ito ang mga namimiss kong salu-salo...

Same night, second visit ng aking barkada sa house. This time, nadagdag si Rhea, Jeff, Agip and husband Eriel. Kainan, and walang kupas na kwentuhan.

Inabot na ng lalim ng gabi, sa kwentuhan, kung hindi pa, nagparamdam ang ulan na paparating, malamang di maghiwa-hiwalay! Sarap tlaga ng buhay dito.

That's the high light of the ONE MONTH that had passed.

Now, i have to prepare FOR THE NEXT MONTH TO COME!

Thank you Lord my BLOOD PRESSURE is NORMAL 120/80 (after continous medication, kasi naghigh blood ako previous months)

Thank you Lord, my URINALYSIS is CLEAR (after also medication, kasi nagkaroon ako ng slight infection)

Thank you Lord, my OGTT Oral GLucose Tolerable Test is Normal, no sign of any diabetes.

Today, baby is 35 weeks... 5 weeks more to complete the 40 weeks, but some of them are saying baby may come out between 37-40 weeks, kaya ready na kami anytime!

WHEW!

BABY JJ will be COMING OUT ALREADY!

Mixed emotion, sobrang excited, na kinakabahan, na masaya, na natatakot. Ang prayer ko nga, yung prayer ng isang kamultiply ko. Here's what she prayed for me

" THAT I MAY HAVE THE EASIEST , if there is, DELIVERY of MY BABY"

So, help me GOD!

Prenatal Photoshoot by Master Xandry Agno

I was really excited when one day, MR. XANDRY AGNO, a very good friend of mine and husband, approached us kung like namin ng Prenatal Photoshoot, I told him, i don't like, kasi I SUPER LIKE! hehehehe...

He is the Leader of our ECAM ( Events Coverage and Archives Ministry) where me and Joseph were both members. Super naexcite ako, nung sinabi niya, na we will set a date for the prenatal photoshoot. He asked me to look for prenatal photos in the website, na pwede naming kunan ng idea. So, i would like to mention the site of Mel Diaz (contact here in multiply) kasi nagustuhan ko yung prenatal pictorial niya, and I've shown it to XAndry, kaya merong shots na ginaya namin...salamat Mel!

The rest of the photos, idea na ni Master XAndry, nagulat nga si Joseph, kasi all the while, akala niya, di siya kasali, hahaha! But Xandry is very creative, kaya we had our first family picture, ang saya saya talaga!

Here, am sharing to you few of the photos, taken a month ago, August 15 if i am not mistaken, baby is still 6.5 months.

Beauty of Singapore

Yes! me and husband went to Singapore for a 3 day tour, tagal na namin itong plano, and thank you LORD, nagkaroon ng reality.

Just single word to describe our Singapore Trip "SUPERB!"

Reasons why I describe it SUPERB!

First, SUPER PEOPLE! ( Got the chance to meet again Joseph's college friends who became his super close friends na nasa Singapore) CARLO AND RICO!

 

It was RICO, who picked us up from CHANGI AIRPORT, and drop us to the Hotel where we will stay for 2 nights.

 

And the two of them, RICO AND CARLO, sila ang aming kasama sa paggagala sa Singapore, they are really funny persons, walang kayabang yabang, mga game kasama, and mag enjoy ka talaga sa buong trip, plus the fact that the 3 guys have something in common, they are all in PHOTOGRAPHY, kaya we have bulk photos tlaga, mga NIKONIANS tong mga magkakaibigan na ito...

 

And meeting Joseph's sister ATE NENG, she'd been working in Singapore for almost 20 years already, and as far as I can remember, once ko lang siya nameet few minutes lang, nung minsang dumalaw ako sa house nila Joseph, after that, wala na. So, one reasons, why we chose Singapore for our stop over is to visit ATE NENG, also, kasi lagi niya sinasabi na super ganda at linis sa Singapore. And hindi siya nagkamali.

Happy to see Joseph and HIS ATE NENG together!

 

And of course, ang dahilan ko naman, why I want Singapore, is because of LEONA! My trip in Singapore was so memorable, because of meeting a very nice person, na hindi lang lang hanggang multiply ngkaroon ng connection, but, inside our hearts, parang kahit unang meet namin, meron nang magic sa aming friendship! I love Singapore because of LEONA!

Sharing you some of the places na napuntahan na namin, they said, there are MORE NICE PLACES, but since we only have 3days and 2nights, di na namin napuntahan lahat.

BABY JJ, is very well ok, he's enjoying new atmosphere, laging malikot at masayahin...wala pa kami nahanap OB, pag nesettle na siguro sa bahay, then next week, pa check up na ulit ako...

Baby Shower Party from Music Team

I love surprises...

And mostly, I belong to the persons who is always behind the SECRET EVENTS... andun, yung excitement, the thrill, the happiness lalo na pag nakita mong naappreciate ng taong binigyan niyo ng surprise party.

This time, It was my turn to receive a VERY SURPRISE BABY SHOWER PARTY!

Wala talaga akong idea, that something is happening at my back, that an event will happen on a night I thought was just an ordinary practice for our Praise and Worship!

Until now, I can feel the height of my spirit for all the surprises, the happiness of that evening!

Sa totoo lang, I was not ready, siempre, surprise at secret nga eh, kaya forgive me for my OILY FACE, my BRUHANG HAIR, my OUTFIT for that night... kasi naman, si husband, alam naman palang merong secret party, di man lang ako medyo binalaan to prepare...hehehe... magaling magdala ng secret!

7pm was our call time, and up to 6:30pm, am still sleeping, nagising na lang, when my mobile rang, and it was Ate Menchie, na lagi kong sinasabayan every practice. So I immediately, had a rush bath, as in rush na rush, and within 10minutes, I am inside Kuya John and Ate Menchie's car. Only one thing, before leaving husband ask me to bring the our camera, because Ate Cris (one of the team's leader, borrowed it).

We had our usual practice, Kuya Leoj will be the song leader for the Friday Worship, so after we have completed the practice, I received a call from husband, asking me to go down, and get the Tripod with him... (hmmm, bakit naman pumunta pa si husband, all the while, I thought he's already in the gym, sabi niya kasi magbubuhat siya). So I asked him, he told me, they asked him to bring the Tripod.

Nung pababa na ako to meet husband sa grocery sa baba, Ate Menchie asked me to accompany her to buy some stuff for our merienda. Kaya, dalawa kaming bumaba. While Ate Menchie is buying the disposable utensils, I called husband, and he's already outside the grocery waiting for us.

We went upstairs, the three of us, and I'm expecting that they are already started eating the merienda, but when I opened the door, I was shocked by what I saw....

Balloons, decorations, mga gifts, and they all in unison shouted " SURPRISE!!!!!!!!"

Sobrang nasurprise talaga ako! Gusto kong maiyak na, na gusto kong tumawa ng tumawa, gusto ko silang yakapin lahat, for this surprise, mababaw tlaga akong tao. You can easily touched my heart even for simple things, eh lalo pa pag gantong you know, they have exerted their efforts.

So they asked me and husband, to sit so start the program.

First part is introduction by Ate Rasel (official host for the shower party), about me and Joseph. Hehehe, thanks for researching Ate Rasel. She has taken it from my Facebook Profile.

After the introduction, is the BABY SHOWER PARTY GAMES!

FIRST GAME (BABY SHOWER I KNOW IT!)

Ate Rasel gave me a feeding bottle, with pins inside, all they have to do is to guess how many pins were inside the bottle, they were given, a small piece of paper, where they will write their name and their answers. Clue, it is between 100-200 pins. whoever is the nearest, will get a prize!

It was really FUN because 2 of them, got the exact number of pins... ANSWER 143 pins, Congratulations, PARDIBLE QUEENS Ivee and Cris!

SECOND GAME (BABY HENYO!)

Partner, 1 Gent and 1 Lady, who will guess the BABY STUFF I will show within 30 seconds. The Gent will ask clues, and the Lady will only have to answer, EITHER, YES/NO/MAYBE.

THIRD GAME (Guess Mommy Joanne's Waistline)

Ate Rasel, gave each of them ribbon, and they have to cut it on their desired length, as to what they think the size of my waistline now. It is really exciting, how they tried their best to guess my waistline now.

After comparing all their ribbons, 3 of them , IVEE, DOREEN AND KUYA MIKE, sila yung pinakamalapit sa sukat, so they lied all the 4 ribbons on the floor, mine and their 3 ribbons, to know who's the WINNER.

LAST PART OF THE PROGRAM is the time for the team to give their personal messages, wishes, advice, blessings, and prayers for me, Joseph and most especially Baby JJ.

I cannot tell one by one, what they have imparted to us, but I can assure them, all of the words they have given to us, will remain in my heart, I will follow their advice lalo na when it comes to motherhood, and Joseph also in his fatherhood, and we will make sure, we will do our best to be good parents to Babj JJ!

I love you all, thank you so much! No words enough to say how grateful I am, my family, to have you as our Family here in Dubai. We know we have brothers and sisters here, who love us and who are always willing to support us, especially in spritually which is the most important above all!
